Mike, I'm new to this blog but not so new to the hobby having had a tank for more than 16 years. You're collection and photos of zoos is truly amazing!
Seems I buy new ones($40+ each) but they don't grow, let alone propagate. In my market Dallas/Fort Worth) it really seems like "frags for $40" has become the norm so the lack of success is pretty frustrating.
The available frags are pretty sorry in size and health. And the local store resouces (staff) unfortunately know little if anything about how the home hobbyist can introduce them successfully into aquariums.
Any opinion on the use of "marine putty" or "marine glue" to secure the animals to a reef? Any suggestions as to brand names? Can they be secured vertically or must they be horizontal? And any suggestions as to appropriate feeding so as to keep them happy and well? Many thanks. I'm determined to do better with these wonderful creatures. -- Tom
