I know that prices range with different locations but is 80.00 for a very small colony of zoos sound reasonable?The colony is pink w/ white center & about 3 inches across.

I would say thats a bit much around here I would pay maybe $30 to 40 for those and that size.

If the colony is worth that much to you then it's a good price. Pink with White centers is uncommon and that's probably why the price is so high.

Some people pay that per polyp. Like Bag says, if it worth that musch to you then buy it.

I think its bang lol not bag but that aside.
To me that is alot for a small colony it sounds like alot. But it really depends on how common they are like bang mentiond or how mutch you like them. I would shop around on the net try using google or that auction site to search for pink zoo's and see what common prices are. If there close to that price or more than there worth it but if there not then I would say its a ripoff.

I have been looking for some pink/"bubblegum" zoos myself. IMHO I would not pay $80 for a "very small colony" of almost any zoos.
I guess it depends on a few things.....do different LFS' in your area sell zoos ever? Maybe they could order for you. How bad do you want these particular zoos? Like metioned above, these zoos sound fairly uncommon.
I'd shop around on the net...there are lots of sites that sell pink zoos.

Pinks and Blue zoo's and purple, red, and pink palys are very expensive. Try and see if you can buy a smaller frag for 30-40 bucks. I happen to like frags better anyway.

Thanks everyone for your replys! I've been considering ordering from the net but I've never done that before & I'm a little leary. There are only 2 stores that have live corals here & they are both over an hours drive away for me, in different directions I might add. Only the one has zoos and they did have all the different colors, pinks, blues, reds, they had them all. I guess it does all depend on how much they are worth to you but because they are the only ones around I think they have a tendency to overcharge. Do any of you ever order on the net & if so how was the quality when you received it? Thanks again!

Im the same way only stores around here is an hour drive "there all in the same place unless I want to go on a 2 to 3 hour drive lol".
I have ordered inverts online and everything was alive and I just ordered 20 corals "recieved 23" and everything is opening and growing like normal. Pics are in photo forum.
