zooantids are dying?

They have been in the tank for about 6 month and doing fine up yol today, now i have noticed that none of them are opening and some of them are falling off, also there is a small amount of brown fur looking stuff around a couple of the polyps, any ideas?

look for worms that are disturbing them, look for vermitid snails and sundial snails. They will eat them. Also, look for six legged astrina starfish or micro stars that have one very long leg. They will eat them and polyps as well.
The brown fur is the insides of the polyps. You can do an iodine dip in "Reef Dip" and that should help. Also, check all of your parameters and make sure everything is in check, including pH and Alk.
Other then that, without seeing pictures I can't diagnose any other problems.

In my experince once they start to go thats the end. It really sucks, I lost two frags of tubs that way.
