Zoos not opening

A couple of days ago I bought a small zoo frag for my main tank. They opened right up and have basically stayed open since I put them in (even at night with the moon lights on). I liked the frag so much that I bought another one yesterday for my Picotope. That one opened right up, too, but they haven't opened again since I turned the lights off last night. There's another small colony of zoos in the Pico that came on a small piece of rock, and they open up like normal. Parameters for the two tanks are basically identical. If anything, the Pico has better water quality because there are no fish in there. Is this normal zoo behavior? Any advice? Thanks.

If you have good lighting and acclimated them for at least 2 - 3 hours they should open up within a half hour of placing them in your tank.
I recently bought some zoas as well! (greeneyed ones)

Some take longer to open then others, even same type especially if the lighting is different. I fragged some zoos and the original colony opened right back up when i put them baack under MH lighting, i put the other frag in a tank under T5 and they didn't open for about 24 hrs.

zoos don't need to be acclimated for 2-3 hrs.

when i first got mine i didnt know how to attach them so i tried to allow them to attach themselves. they wouldnt stay and kept rollin around the tank. i fianally got some super glue gel and attached them. they stayed closed for about 2 weeks! now they've just opened up like 5 days ago and are doing great.

Both colonies came attached to small rocks, so that's not an issue.
