i don't have a lid on my tank.. helps so it doesn't get too hot. i have two ocellaris in mine, they have both been just fine so far.

how long do you keep your lights on?? i had a hair algea outbreak a few weeks ago, and i slowly cut back the length of time my lights were on to about 6 hours. all the algea disappeared in about 2 weeks. :jumping: unfortunately i still have some slime algea, but that's getting better now too.
