I've had my tank set up for a little over a year and a half and am having a hell of a time with hair algae and bubble algae. There was a period of time several months ago where certain things kept me from my tank and I started using tap water...that is when the problems started. But it has...

I have a pretty good amount of flow in my tank due to the heavy SPS load and a lot of rock.
I have:

I have a 65 gallon tank, currently FOWLR, that I want to begin turning into a reef tank. I've had my PHs (2 Koralia 1s) on the back glass, each side top...pointed towards the center of front glass. Most of the pictures that I have seen on this site show the PHs on the on the side glass pointed...
Your tank is awesome! I have a 65 and have been tinkering with the idea of changing it into a reef. I'm adding more LR soon and have been questioning the way I have my PHs directed and the flow I have in my tank. How much flow do you have in yours? I would also be interested in knowing how...
I currently have a AquaC Urchin for my 65 gal and am thinking about getting another skimmer that is more quiet. I'm looking for a decent one, but not too expensive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I thought that once they found a place they liked, they pretty much stay put. Don't a lot of people include them in their reef tanks for their clowns to host?
Don't have to worry about that now...for some reason the BTA has moved off of the LR it has been on for the past few months. Why would it do that? I've changed nothing in the tank...flow has been the same...water quality the same...any ideas on what I should check to see why it all of the...
I've had a BTA for a few months now and it is doing very well...found a location along a rock that it likes. However, it will move a little along the rock and up until recently it has not been an issue. Now it is moved to a location where its' tentacles are touching one of my zoo colonies...
