I have a 100g tank that I'm looking to improve the lights from my VERY basic set up right now. I'm looking at the Nova Extreme 8x54, Nova Extreme Pro 6x54, or a TEK 8x54. Any suggestions?????? Right now my tank is just a FOWLR, but I "might" start to include corals in the near future...

I do have one on my 100g. I think it does help......to what point is a personal decision. I noticed a HUGE change with with clarity and less algea with the combination of a UV light AND RO/DI system. Well worth it! IMO.

Changing my 100g tank from crushed coral to sugar sand. What brand do you use......????? Has anyone used Estes' Ultra Reef sugar sand. I liked it because it's really white and not too "powdery".

Ya that's what I was thinking....... I was thinking of even painting them the same color as the rear glass..... to make them even less noticable. What about the returns....anyone have any pics of how they look coming up and over the glass...and not through???

I'm seriously thinking of getting the 285G tank off of CL, however it's not drilled. Is a drilled tank that important for a FOWLR setup....or is it just because it "looks better"???? Opinions please!!!!

Just wondering why air stones or air strips are bad in a saltwater tank????? I just really like the way they look.... but have heard/read they aren't good.
