Thanks! The problem with picking my own rock is the closest store is way to expensive. So I figured I'd just get some online because I don't really care about picking my own rock
On this store website there are 2 different bundles of live rock for 50lbs. 1 is the "rock around the world combo" and the other is the "premium Caribbean". Theres about a $20 difference. Which one would you buy for your tank?
Is there any kind of websites or anything someone recommends where I can read up on corals? im confused on what the different corals and wanna do research be I start getting any. thanks!
im in the process of setting my new saltwater tank. I just put my sand in and its extremely dusty like. should I have tried to sift the sand before putting in? because I didn't, what can I do to get rid of the dust in the water?
I SPOKE TO A WOMAN TODAY AT MY LOCAL FISH STORE AND SHE TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD GET ALOT OF THINGS SUCH AS SNAILS AND HERMIT CRABS FOR MY TANK? JUST WANTED TO GET EVERYONES OPINION ON THIS?
I don't have anything in there right now im actually just starting my tank im just tryin to get all my equipment situated before I order and start placing my rock. and I just don't wanna have to much water movement toward my rock that it messes up my coral when I start putting coral in the tank.
I have a 55 gallon tank and I just purchased 2 powerheads which do 422gph a piece. I feel like this is a lot of water movement and just want to know if it is to much for my tank?
Also how should I place them in the tank? close to the top? bottom? middle?
