also, make sure you have sand in the bottom of the tank too (2"-3") and try to get a LB of live sand from yur lfs.

aquafina...better than tap...but RODI is much better

LOL, I wouldn't recommend it for larger tanks, but a tank this size will be room temp or a degree lower almost 100% of the time. Plus the best place to put a heater is in the filter, which sends my evap rate through the roof when I take the top off.
