120W incandescent grow light?

yes i have good fast growth with a 125w twist pc bulb. it's really a 30-50w forget but say same output as 125?? Seen those? anyway My caulerpa is harvested every mo in my 10g.1 bulb with a pendant reflector $7 type

right, but its not a PC ist an incandescent. think that will still work? i went ahead and bought it ($10 for the bulb plus $5 for the socket) so if it doesnt work, no big loss.

125w I belive so. if not put a pc bulb on it. But the caulerpa need the light it will get food from the nutrients in the tank also.

thanks, it has been 2 days and the caulerpa is very green and ealthy looking, so my gess is it will be fine. I was worried about the spectrum.

caulepa doesn't care about spectrum. Corals either intesity is most imortant before spectrum. Now if you have alot of intensity and change spectrium in a bulb with close to equal intensity there may be adjustments with the corals mainly sps but not with caulerpa
