Today I recieved my power compact. Odysea 24" 65w with a 50/50.
Im running a 20 gallon mini reef.
Before the PC arived I was using a 24" flaourecent 50/50 but that was only 15w. No bueno.
My question is, can I still keep running the 15w 50/50 in conjunction with the new 65wPC. Is there such thing as too much light?
I have a Marron clown that I will eventually get an anemone for. What are reccomended WPG for a bubble tip?
I also have an 8w moon actinic, should I also runn that durring the day and night, or just durring the night?
Current inhabitants:
1 Marron Clown
1 Singapore Angel
1 Cleaner shrimp
8 Hermit crabs (4 scarlet, 4 blue)
3 Turbo snails
2 Hawaiian Feather Dusters.
2 collonies of "regular" mushrooms
1 watermellon stripe mushroom
1 collony of some kind of zoas (purple with neon green mouth)
and this one thing that looks like a cross between an anemone and a zoa. its pink and has light green "bubly" tentecles (ill try and post a pic later.any ideas though?)
and a wide array of stow aways (brittle stars, worms)
ok, ok... im done.
