anemone help

i just noticed my tank walking to the kitchen to get a drink, my anemone is shriveled up with a big wad of slime coming off it, as i understand it, thats very bad =/
what should i do about it? anyone have any links or something i could read?
its a green bubbletip btw

hmm, from what i understood in that post (technical stuff > me) it didnt have enough lighting in his tank, but i dont have metal halides or another tank with better lighting to put it in, it was kinda in the shade under a rock, i put it on the top directly under the light .... not sure what else to do
edit: oh, my tank has orbits compact "2X96W (1) 96w Dual Daylight and (1) 96w Dual Actinic" in a 46g tank
