Blenny hiding

I have my blenny about a week now and I have sen him only 3 times he never comes out he pops his head out and goes back in I have no idea where to look for him or if he is even ok..
I also want to go buy something for him to eat what do they eat besides algae Or should i say what do I put in the tank for him and the hermit crabs to eat.
I want to make sure they dont starve?

Depending on the blenny, this could be very normal behavior. I am curious to hear the type of blenny as well.

My lawnmower blenny did the same thing when I got him. It took him about 3-4 weeks before he was visible for most of the time. But it might be different if u have a different type of blenny.
