Breaking the surface of the water for Oxygen???

Should I have one of my Powerheads near the top of my tank aimed up to disrupt the top of the water for better oxygen? I have heard air bubbles and such are a decent way so I was curious about the powerhead near the top of the tank?
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what you mean about the air bubbles and a decent way...Yes point a power head toward the surface of the tank

Oh ...no don't use air stones for a saltwater tank. If you put your PH in the very back and aimed upward it will break the surface and push water forward over the rocks doing two jobs.

You want surface agitation for o2 exchange but not for bubbles. My cleaner shrimps surf at night on the waves I create.

I assumed that is what he meant by the title...those shrimp sure know how to have fun don't they, mine play all night too. All day long they hang out in one area but when the moonlights kick on they are all over the tank.

Using powerheads to provide surface agitation is a common way to increase the air /gas interchange.
Even more effective is to use plant life like various algaes (macros and corraline) to suck out the carbon dioxide and return oxygen. the important thing to me is sucking out the carbon dioxide. So that the tank becomes a net consumer of oxygen and producer of oxygen every 24 hour period.
