Can Eel transfer ick?

I have 2 fish tanks, and one of them has ick. Can I move my Eel from the "ick" tank to my healty tank without a risk?

I'd leave hime where he is. It is my understanding the SFE's can't get or transmit ich. Whether the SFE can handle a hypo treatment is another issue. If your goal is to leave the 'ich' tank fishless for six weeks, the SFE should be fine in the ich tank by himself, and the ich will die after their natural cycle.

Actually it is a Blue Ribbon Eel that I had for 8 months now. I want to perform hypo on the tank, and I am afraid that the Eel could die since it is a delicate "creature". I have a smaller tank(reef) that I could put him in, however I don't want to introdue the ick there.

Moray species can not contract ich.
When preforming hypo on a tank housing a Moray, you have to be extremely careful and monitor the SG daily.
