Can I get a Flame Angel?

its really a 50/50 if kept well fed you will have no problem. but sometimes it may nip a coral. friend has a flame and it has nip his coral. so its really a 50/50. cause his friend has one to and it never touch!

It's pretty much a 50/50 if he will be reef safe or not. The first one I ever had was completely reef safe, he completely ignored my corals. A while later I got another one for my second tank and one hour into the tank he went for most of my corals, sps and softies, he just had to go. It's never a 100% sure he won't nip at corals

Busy with work, school and stuff. I upgraded to a 125. It's been running for about 2 months now. I'll start a thread about it sometime lol
The flame angel that I had was well fed, nori sheets, angel formula and mysis shrimp

if u really want one, and r able to risk ur corals, then get it. i think they r mostly reef-safe. here is mine of 8 months. what a beauty. took me many months b4 deciding to add one.

Wow! That is an awesome Tank! I really want to get one, but I'm afraid if he were to eat my corals I would have to destroy all of my rock to get him out...Not fun

imo, even if it does eat corals, it is very specific as to which one to eat. it is not going to eat them all.

i was at my lfs and they told me they keep thier flames with corals and only once had one that ate the corals and they still him.
he was pretty big even for a flame maybe thats how he got so big he wasnt for sale.
