Carbon, or not to Carbon...

That is the question.
I have been running Carbon in my filters for a few months now. is it neccessary? Could I be doing harm by utilizing the carbon?

i run it 24/7. keeps water clear. Although i think 3 days of running it is all you need.

no, because i keep on my monthly water changes If you keep up with the tank running carbon would be fine? Also make sure that you change it monthly,
