Chicken Strip= Cracked tooth?

I think God (or the like) hates me. For lunch my prego wife was craving Runza, which is a Nebraska fast-food chain that has really good food as in they patty fresh burger everyday rather than frozen boxed crap, and I got chicken strips. On my second bite I heard a loud crack in my mouth. After I spit the food out I check my tooth to find out that about 1/4 of it is gone! Funny part is, it doesn't really hurt, but I'm sure I won't be saying that after I go to the dentist at 4.
What are the chances? 1:1,000,000?
(My wife jokingly thinks its my drastic attempt to getting out of going to her friend's wedding tonight)

I sure hope you saved whatever it was and reported it...I know someone who something similar happened to them, and the place paid for the dental work.

Yes I do have dental ins., so that's not a prob. It just sucks I have to go in after eating a CHICKEN STRIP!

Its the second molar to the back on the upper right side.

WELL At least it's not in the front...cause I would not be leaving my house except to go straight to the dentist if that were the case

Well, my two front teeth are fake.....I had a little accident involving racing bikes that led to biting concrete when I was younger...

ditto here i had a trip on a skid at work when younger and spit out 4 front teeth.two root canals and an implant later they look great.
wish i could afford to cap them all.
i think these days with all the people trying to file lawsuits it would be hard to get anyone to just pick up the tab like that anymore.
hope they cap it and not bond it the bonds will usually crack off again .

Unless you expose a nerve cracked teeth wont always hurt. Unfortunately you usually get to experience a root canal to fix the bad tooth.
