Coral help....

Short story, one of my shrimp attacked/ate a new coral i just put in yesterday. (Stylophora)
It is now completely white... there are some small specs of color left but barely any.
Is this coral a goner? or can it possibly heal and survive?

The shrimp most likely didn't attack the coral. They do tend to eat on things that are dying though. It probably wont make a come back. Its most likely dead. Sorry,

yeah it sucks. The peppermint shrimp ate it. I caught him doing it. The coral was brand new. I just introduced it. He went to town on it... i tried to shoo him away about 3-4 times.. but he finished the job overnight.
I'll give it a few days to see if I see any positive change, and then take it out if not.
