Here is J.P.
He is the most active bicolor blenny ever I swear he never sits still, thus the blurry pictures.

Aw, he's cute! You sure he's not a goby though? The tail is a lot different from any bicolor blenny I've ever seen...

After having my tank up and running for about 10 months I finally broke down and bought a red lip blenny. He is a very cool fish hopefully I can get him to sit still enough to get a pic or two.

Yup, I am sure. I mean, everyone at the LFS said so, and he looks like pictures of other bicolors. He's just special.

BTW I nominated Hephestes for cutest blenny! He better win!

Our Blenny "Elvis" loves to come play in front when we are near. No matter where I move, he moves with me. It's fun to watch the cleaner shrimp do it's job and even cleans inside his mouth. He has been known to brush by my fingers when straightening things in the aquarium. I swear he's trying to be petted.
Add: Some say they have troubles feeding other than algae sheets, but after Elvis ate up all the algae on the rocks, I started getting worried that he was gonna starve, but after trying different things, he decided he'd stick around with us and now eats ANYTHING I put in the tank....so herbivors by nature, they will adapt to eating other stuff. We've had him 7 months now and at first he stayed pretty much in and out of the rocks, but now he begs you to come play with him right up front.

This little blenny I just loved. Unfortunately when my old hex tank sprung a leak and I switched it over to a 30g cube I think he got caught under a rock and got hurt, seen him the first day in new tank then never seen him again.

Very very pretty blenny. These pictures were taken in the QT tank when I first got him. Tail Spot Blenny

Your tailspot may have just died. I have read numerous threads where people have had a hard time keeping them alive.

Really?? Guess my LFS was wrong, they said it was a bicolor! I kept telling my bf he wasn't a bicolor but he didn't believe me.
Thank you!! Are they harder to take care of?

Blennies are my favorite fish. Too bad you can't keep them all in one tank, then I would have my flametail, a bicolor, LMB, and a Midas!
