Cycling/Diatoms

Hello All,
I have been cycling my tank for 2 weeks now and there are diatoms all over. I know that that is a good sign. But there is also brown hairy like clumps all over my tank also. They are the same color as the diatoms and look like piles of hair balls or something. I was just wondering if this is normal or should I be worried?

Yes, it's normal. And they go away by itself. Just let it do its cycle. Just keep the front of your tank clean so you can see inside. What ever you do they will just come back untill it is done.
