i guess you can. i'm not so sure how well it will work. anyways - pvc will be covered with coralline within a few weeks. you won't even know it's there.

Even one of them might take up a lot of room unless you keep everything short and near the top of the tank. Also, unless your tank has a colored back, you'll always be able to see the plumbing, so you may want to consider either painting or adding some squeegee-on tank backing to hide it. I have a real peeve for "stuff" in my setups, but I know some folks aren't bothered. JM .02.
