Fish just died!

Lemonade (my Clown Goby) just died today.
Here are my tank reading:
PH 8.1
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
KH 8
Temp 79
Other inhabitants:
Domino damsel
Black Cap damsel
Yellow Tail blue damsel
Green Open Brain coral
Frogspawn
Pipe Organ
Ricordeas
I don't think the damsels stressed him. They totally ignore him. My guess is because he doesn't swim around a lot. They have been together for about a year now with no problems.
I don't know for sure how old he is. I have had him for roughly 10 months.
I only saw one visible sign of injury but I myself may have caused it. There was a very small bit missing from him in the tummy area. I think I did that when I tried to get him out of the tank. He was behind a lot of rock and I had to drag him out from the rocks with the handle end of the net before I could net him out. The injury appears to be in roughly the same spot where I kept poking him with handle of the net trying to get him out.
Any ideas what might be going on?

yes I know...I will do that. I am also going to get another brand of all the tests that way I can compare the readings to each other. I hear all tests are off a little so this way I can test with one brand and then test with the other brand and figure my true reading is somewhere between the two.
