Florida reef rock

Is Florida Reef rock a good choice for a new saltwater tank? Also can I add crabs to a new cycling aquarium? Thanks

IMHO, live rock is live rock. What I look for is size/shape of pieces, not where it comes from. I have a lot of Tonga rock, which some people swoon over. I had someone offer to buy my Tonga branch pieces for $20/lb because the Tonga live rock quarry is now closed and supposedly Tonga is "premium" live rock. Pocky cock! I have Caribbean live rock that is just as good.
