help is my eggcrate going to melt???

hey guys i just switched over to an eggcrate top i got at home depot. I installed and it seems like my 3 vho strips are only like 2 - 3 inches offf the plastic is this going to melt the eggcrate??? i will monitor it for the next hour. any help would be appreciated! thanks

My MH lights are only about 4 to 5 inches away from my eggcrate and I havent had any issues with melting.

I would think you would be ok........just check on it...if you see and deformation just move them up

If it starts to sag then you might have to flip it over once in a while.
