Help With Mandarin Dragonet

He has a web like stuff on half of his body and cobering one eye! I believe this came from a brown tube that is growing on a LR. It puts out a web like and catches stuff in it. Will catching my fish and trying to get it off stress him out to much or kill him, or should I leave it and just keep an eye on it?
i can not get a picture because my wife has the camera and is on vac.

Keep an eye on him, possibly just a heavy slime coat. Or it might be something way worse, just monitor him.

I know they look like they're coated with something when they sleep. I would wait until tomorrow and if it's still there when he's alive and moving around, then I would worry.
It could also be brooklynella, although I've never seen it on dragonets.

he was swimming and moving when I left. it looks just like the web.
