Will the regular brown Hermit Crabs eat and take care of my hair algae blum cause by my new lights. My LFS only has the brown hermits. All readings on the water are fine. I just didn't adjust my tank to the new lights slow enough.
Thanks

I would never count on hermits to clean up hair algae. I would focus on the cause of the blum first. What is your PO4 at?

Should eat it.. but dont count on a fish or invert to control an algae problem. You might just end up with more NO3 and PO4 producers in your tank compounding the problem..
