High Ammonia ???

Ok, so not only do I have high pH, I also have high ammonia.
I put ammo lock in. Do I need to do a water change?

1) Something just died/decaying
2) You added too many fish at once.
3) Dirty filters
4) You dont have enough surface area for bateria.

I would do a water change, but I don't know much about the ammo lock, I've never used it. Well, I do know that some ammo lock type products can affect your test readings.

Has the tank cycled?

Yes, the tank is about 8 months old.
