I am thinking about doing a local only pipefish tank. I am thinking either a 5 or 10 gallon hex tank. My plan is to go to my LFS and buy some base rock, maybe drill a few extra holes and such and put them in a net bag at my floating dock for a few weeks to a month to let native stuff grow on it. (obviously by this you can infer I dont plan on doing this tomorrow). Not thinking about any corals unless they come with the rock. Then I will catch another pipefish to put in. I already have one living in my fuge. How does this sound? Will a low speed power filter work for filtration? Never having tried pipes before I am wondering. If I dont get any native macro I will prolly put some in. Ideas, suggestions, criticisms?
