Hi all, I just wanted to get opinions, how long do reefers leave their lights on. I have an 180 gal. 6X2 tank that has been running for five mounths now. It has two 400w MH 12000k bulbs. Needless to say I am now a P.G.&E. prefered costermer. I have my lights on a timer set for nine hours a day. I also use two S.O. 48'' blue actinic lights for the sun rise and set affect. They stay on for a total of two hours a day. My corals, hard and soft, seem to be doing fine under these conditions. What do you think?
