put a divider in the tank. if they are the same size it could take a little while if they are going to bond.

divider or one will die. i never had any luck with more then 1 clown. i tried it with the 2 tomatos 1 died, i tried it with 2 saddle back 1 died, i tried it with 2 clarkiis 1 died. so depending on the size tank, how much cover you have chances are you will have the same problem i had.
