I would like to know what the object in the center of the picture is. It looks like some kind of coral. It is hard but has tiny polyps.
Also I would like to know what kind of macro algae is above the coral. I have never seen red with large leaf type things.
Thanks

The coral in the middle looks like a toadstool leather. The macro algae is a form of kelp. Typically found on live rock from cooler pacific waters, it comes in browns, yellows, reds, maroons, and purples. Not always found on the cooler water live rock but usually.

I have at least figured out that the coral is a type of Small Polyp Stoney coral.
Thanks for all of your answers. Anymore guesses?

Well, after I figured out the coral was alive I put it in a floating breeder tank and it died due to lack of flow. The one macro turned out to have leaves like a holly bush, very tough and the other never grew so I took them both out.
