ID this coral please!

The other day, I was given about 12 stalks of pulsing xenia, and three pounds of live rock covered with this other coral (about eight to ten inches across) for just $40.
Could someone please ID the coral for me? It grows a mat much like GSP, but it's a greyish/pink color. The polyps are brown, with long and very thin arms.

Someone posted a pic like this before, and I also have some in my tank. I had always thought star polyps, but Bang said that it is a encrusting gorg. Ill see if I can find the pic & post.
 
colored center (in this case white) and a puprple mat...most likely star polyps ( ie Briareum or Clavularia)yours IMHO...Pachyclavularia sp.
Solid color and pinker IME with a "rougher" polyp...encrusting gorgonian (also has a pink to flesh colored mat instead of purple)

My encrusting gorg is flesh colored... But I like your pink more!!! We oughta do a trade. :D
