i just added a beautiful blue annenome to my tank today.... within the minute one of many peppermint shrimp in my tank rush out and started harassing the poor annenome. I actually saw him clip a peice of tenticle off and shove it in his mouth.... then he disappeared.
is he gonna continue to do this? it really doesnt seem like he would. he hasnt been seen for hours... he actually never comes out in the daytime anyway. i hope this doent become a reoccuring thing.... any insight is appreciated... has anyone seen this behavior before?

I'm not sure if he was eating them or what, but I've seen a peppermint shrimp at my LFS picking at a BTA. I thought he was suicidal!
I was planning on getting a few peppermint shrimp in the future, and then a BTA later on. Maybe I shouldn't mix them?

Your peppermint shrimp must be from the same mother as mine... mine ate a nudi, loves to go nuts on feather dusters.. and even messing with my clam here and there
