kalk reactor and high alk

I have a Reef Concepts calcium reactor and my kh is 16 and my cal is 370, why is my kh so high and not my calcium. I understand the relationship with cal and alk. I have 0 nitrates and do regular h2o changes so my ionic balance should be good. Sharks or anyone have any changes I could make.....should I add a calcium additive til I get up to 400 plus or will I make snow with the alk so high ??????

thanks guys, I will SLOWLY add some cal sup to boost cal some, but don't want snow. My reactor will do a 700 galllon tank and I only have it on 100 gal total, kind of hard to adjust..........I'll give it a shot..

This might be overlooked, but what test kits are you using? I would only trust Salfert...for now.
