yep....if thats what you do for VDay. If you normally don't, I wouldn't. If you are married or live with your gf, I would have them waiting when she gets home and dinner going!

son of a... I thought the monday thing was pretty smart too, but now looking back the friday deal is pretty nice to be able to think about the flowers all weekend long.
Or you could just man up and work on convincing your wife that what the US sees as Valentines day is a non-holiday that was a made up by Halmark and the flower industry to increase business. Thank god my wife doesnt subscribe to the v-day nonsense. I dont need a specific day of the year to let her know how I feel about her and buy some flowers at 5 times what they cost any other time of the year.

Holiday CARDS!!! I hate them....the biggest waste of 2.99-4.99 there is. Because everyone just throws them away. The card shows the gift receiver how much you spent on the stupid thing...and the person receiving just a card feels like crap...no one wants just a card. and if you buy them something else, they don't give a crap about the card 3 seconds after they read it. Does anyone ever reread their cards later? It isn't like a novel....so no.....what is the stupid point...because women enjoy someone else putting nice words in their man's mouth....that is the only reason....
