Macro Algae Turning White

I have some razor calerpa algae that is turning white at the tips is this die off or is this signs of it dying?

It is going asexual on you. When it begins to turn to clear and white it is on its way out and should be removed before releasing nutrients(nitrates) back into your system. I had to get rid of all of mine when it happened in my tank.

From what I have noticed is on my grape cap. that the white ends means its growing. When the white ends start over taking the plant then its going asexual. Just my .02
