I have been having a problem with cyno. All my levels test ok (phosphates and nitrates) so I tried Diamond Gobies on a few different occasions. They all jumped through the eggcrate. Anyway, I needed something to stir my sandbed and I thought what better than a "Sand Sifting Star". My Peppermint shrimp saw it as LUNCH! Completely devoured this thing. I woke up this morning to find a hole in the center and two limbs tore off. 3 peppermint shrimp hanging around and eating.
Maybe mine is an isolated inncodent because I don't remember reading anything about the two not being compatible. Just thought I'd post this to warn/make aware of this. Please let me and the rest of us know if you ran into the same thing.
