Mermaid's cup

Anyone ever heard of this stuff, I saw pictures of it years ago, and thought it would be neat to own. It is also referred to as mermaid's parasol and mermaid's wine glass ( Acetabularia calyculus, Acetabularia acetabulum or Acetabularia crenulata seems be conflicting info on the web). I bought some snails a little while back, and it is growing on them, very interesting algae.
Here is some info on it:
The mermaid's wineglass is one of the prettiest and most delicate plants that frequently elicits exclamations from first time viewers! Typically about 5 cm in height with the "wineglass" only 1 cm in diameter, it is found in shallow, sheltered waters attached to rocks and other shallow substrates. The "stem" and "wineglass" is partially calcified like many other green algae (Halimeda spp. or Cymopolia spp.). Amazingly, each "stem" and "wineglass is actually a single huge cell.
here is another link to a picture of it http://www.zo.utexas.edu/research/ut...abulum%202.jpg
The picture below is not mine.
