I have a reef octopus that has been running for about
a year and the bubbles are driving me crazy. I shimmed
the skimmer to elevate it (hang on back). This lessoned
the bubbles but did not remove. I then put a sponge in
the return tube which helped but instead of really big
bubbles now I have micro bubbles. It was ok with my
fish only tank but now with 20 plus corals I need the bubbles
gone. The tank is 75 gal with a variety of fish and corals.
I would require a hang on back. There are no drilled holes,
no sump and no refugium. I do not want a minimum
skimmer but a maximum. Not stupid maximum but no
skimping. All types of corals , fish and inverts.
