Montipora not growing fast?

Hello,
I got a monti frag about a month ago from my LFS. I superglued it to a rock, and placed it fairly high in my tank. I have not seen much growth on it, and all of my levels are good and the other corals are thriving.

Monti frags typically start by encrusting on the rock before they begin to grow taller.

What kind of montipora? Take a picture of it now. In a month compare the picture to it and you will see some growth.

It is probably 2 inches by 1.5 inches

You can tell if a monti cap is growing by the evidence of a white ring around the edge.

should take about a month or two to encrust on he rocks then it should really start to grow. Give it some time. After three months and still no growth then I'd start to worry. Usually monti caps are fast growers after it's fully aclimated to yr tank.

I have the nova extreme t5ho setup.
Also I fragged it to a smooth rock. Could that be a problem? I am new to the fragging game.
