Moving a sick fish from Display to quarantine

When moving a sick fish from display to a quarantine do we still acclimate them? I have a couple fish I need to do a fw dip and then move them to my quarantine tank because it looks like I have velvet or ich present in my display.

Yes, unless the water just came out of your display. I keep my QT's running all of the time. Even though the parameters are kept close to those of the DT there are always factors that will make one slightly different from the other. If the parameters are very close then a half hour to hour drip is fine. If they are not close then drip for longer.
