My 65gal Reef tank

Hey all just wanted to post some pics of my 65gal reef tank.
*Fish-1 Scopas Tang, 1 Coral Beauty,2 Bangaii Cardinals,1-Neon Dottyback,1-Harlequin bass,2-green chromis,1-lawnmower blenny and 1 B/W False Perculaand 1-False Percula Clowns
* Invertes- 1-Cleaner Shrimp, 1-Coral banded Shrimp, 1- purple lobster, 1- Queen Conch, 1- sand sifting starfish
* Corals- many Xenia. Pulsating,silver and Colony, various mushrooms.brown, hairy, some Zoos and leather.green polyp stars





 
The Kenya Tree Coral, also referred to as a Cauliflower Soft Coral, Nephthea, or Nephthya I picked this up at my local FS. It grows readily in tank and I take frags back to store quite frequently!!

does your neon dottyback bully everyone. we had one that would kill any fish we even thought about putting in there with him.

No not at all. he is pretty social with all his tank mates. Now i did have a sunrise dottyback who was just meaner than heck.. so he had to go!!

the tank looks very good what lights r u runnign on it ????
and have the xiena grown fast..
 
running 250 metal halide with quad blue actinic.. I know I have a regular xenia forest lol.. Stated out with a couple frags and they just spread all over tank. I use DT's Live plankton and it seams to keep everything thriving. thank you for compliment reef.

you said you have one b/w percula and one regular one did they pair up togethor?
awesome looking tank btw i love the fuzzy mushrooms.
 
originally i had two black and whites.. but my large female was very protective of "her" tank and while cleaning some power heads and munching on my arm she jumped out of tank after my hand and hit the hardwood floor for the tko.. she managed to live for awhile after this and eventually passed on.. so I wet to my local FS and they had a large mature female false percula..orange and i decided to give her a try... and they get along great and both rub each other and stayed in same rolls as male and female.. if it didnt work out i was going to remove both and go with a yellow banded maroon...thanks for complimnet

lucky you ours was one mean sob but was always out and about. now we have a mccullochi psuedo that is very elusive
