Need some help

I just picked up my final 30 lbs. of live rock and I have found some very interesting creatures living on it.
This little guy is among about ten that I have found the red fan looking thing I am not sure what it is and would like some help. He pops back into his tube anytime anything comes near him

and his thing it has grown the fuzzy looking stuff over the weekend before it was just a hard piece on my rock Does anyone know what this is? There is also a bunch of this on my rocks

It's hard to tell in the first picture, but it could be a red featherduster. The second picture looks like sponges.

Yeah I beleive they are featherdusters after looking into it more. So the others may be sponges? Will I need additional lighting for these guys I have the standard 40 watt on a 55gal and am doing fish only for now

These sponges don't need light .... they'll be fine.
