NEW Seahorse EGGS....I THINK??

So, I just got a pair of really nice H. Erectus from 2 pairs on Monday night. So far they have just been getting used to their new environment. I noticed that the female was a bit lathargic and not moving around as much as the male. But they were both eating so I wasn't that concerned.
Well....about 10 minutes ago I thought I saw her drop a big orange poop. When I looked closer it looks like eggs. Is this normal does she drop the eggs and the male pics them up??? I new I was going to have to set up a fry tank but I didn't think it was going to be so soon.

The female will deposit her eggs directly into the males pouch. If the eggs are on the substrate, etc.... that means it was a failed breeding attempt. The eggs won't be fertile and should be siphoned out of the tank before they begin to decay.
