Doing my PVC plumbing for AG 90g w/overflow.
Do I need to rinse this after the cement has cured?
Will the PVC Primer or Cement leach anything?

No, once it dries its ok. I just did mine Tuesday. Same tank into the tidepool2 sump. Turned out fine. Make sure you use the correct glue though. Regular "blue" wont set PVC to the ABS bulkhead fitting.

I have found the best way is to use teflon tape. 2 wraps around the pipe and you twist it into the fitting. I use this even on pressurized fittings and I have no leaks. also makes it much easier to change something when you decide you want to add a refugium or move your powerhead or anything. And on vinyl tubing I just use 2 tie wraps to hold tight to the barbs. Havent leaked a drop yet... OOOpps.. better go check my tank now that I have said something..
