Reef safe,monitor?

Welp got my new mystery wrasse and it says monitor with shrimp...The second he was done acclamating and put him in tank there went my cleaner shrimp it was a 20 dollar lunch for him but hes cool I will let it slide...

man i would get rid of him and get another cleaner sjrimp as they r so much help keeping ich inline and cleaning things in your tank just my 2 cents

Just an FYI for the future... "Monitor with ________" generally means
"Sooner or later, will eat __________"

when a $200 fish eats a $20 shrimp you usually do "let it slide"
when it comes to "monitor with shrimp" a wrasse is the last fish you want to trust that with. To a wrasse a shrimp might as well be a large pod, its just a matter of can or cant I eat it.

Im one ofthe lucky few that have had a cleaner wrasse for more than 6 months and havent had any problem with ich inthat tank so ill keep him. I got him for a great deal and only payed 80 bucks cause i dont think i would ever pay the expected price for a fish...
