What does it usually take to alter salinity? is there some formula that could be used to determine.
My salinity is at 30 ppt right now at 78 degrees F.
Should I be messing with it at all?
Thanks in advance!

Normal salinity conditions on most Indo-Pacific reefs are 35-37 ppt
I find that my corals do better with higher salinity. I keep my tank at about 78-79 degrees F at 35 ppt. You should be safe by raising your salinity 1 ppt per day.

What is the best way to incrementally increase the salinity?

I do my daily topoffs (1/2 gal) with Saltwater at 78df at 35ppt. In a 75g tank this brings my salinity up about 1 ppt
