Depends on what species. The more active, free swimming sharks (Bonnetheads, Black Tips, etc) will still be too big for that sized tank.
You could probably do:
1 Bamboo, 1 Epulette and 1 Horn
or
3 Bamboo
or
2 Epulette
or
2 Horn
It's not really the number of gallons of the pond...it's the dimensions and it's the amount of filtration you're going to need. Dont forget...sharks are just about the messiest fish you could possible own. The protien skimmer, alone, on a 1000gal. tank is going to run you thousands of dollars.
