I was wondering this myself and there was so many you could use or not use or some that dont even say if it can be submerged.

Silicone doesn't adhere to acrylic... only glass surfaces. It might be ok for putting acrylic baffles in a glass tank.. but don't expect any strength or water proofing out of it.
Again, slicone WILL NOT adhere to acrylic.

Nope, silicone or any other type of bonding agent will not adhere both to glass and acrylic.
Just like Jack said, you can maybe put in baffles in a sump, but don't expect a water tight seal or strength in the bond.

no, silicone will not bond to acrylic. if youre trying to secure acrylic baffles in a sump the best you can do is put a really thick coat on the glass to "hold" the baffle in place.
otherwise use glass baffles. thats what i ended up doing.
and any silicone can be used as long as its 100% silicone. dont use any that have any additives.
